Consumer Tracking

"Who buys what, where, when, how much, at what price?”

– the questions you have, and the ones which we can answer for you by enlisting the aid of our Household Panel.

The GfK Household Panel comprises 2,500 households, selected on a representative basis according to geographical and socio-demographic characteristics. As such, the Panel is a miniaturised, true-to-scale depiction of the whole population and is representative of 2.9 million Bulgarian private households.

The households file reports on a weekly basis detailing their purchases in various categories of their day-today requirements.

Not only the purchases from the classical food retailers are registered but also home-made products, catalog sales as well as the Discounters sale, from food specialist stores and the Cash & Carry and all other possible outlets for the purchase of FMCG items.

In addition, GfK Bulgaria conducts its consumer household panel under the same harmonized methodology in CEE countries, namely Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine.
